Annnd I’m back !!!

As I stated in the previous entry, we did go to the beach again Sunday. It was fun, once again. Brad’s cousin James eventually joined us but his girlfriend didn’t want to come. Oh well! We swam and had a great time. Eventually, we got out to go eat and then James was gonna be on his way. We finished eating and James went to get his stuff and couldn’t find his keys (well, he was driving his girlfriends car so technically, they were her keys) and he had left them on top of his shirt on the bench by our stuff. He and Brad looked and looked and looked and still nothing. :pissed: Luckily, James had a spare key so eventually, he just left. Never did find the keys though.

I wanted to lay out on the beach again so I did that for almost an hour. We didn’t stay as long as we did Saturday. I guess we left after 5PM to come back home. James had planned to come over with his girlfriend Sunday evening and have a little cook out but It got too late so they said they’d see about doing that Memorial Day.

Oh boy. I woke up Monday morning and freaked out!!! My eyes and cheeks (the part right under my eyes) were SWOLLEN really, really badly. I tried to hide my face coz I didn’t even want Brad to see it! :upset: I eventually got some ice bundled up in a rag and put it on my face. It seemed to help a little. We had to go grocery shopping so I just sat in front of the air conditioner with a cold rag. I went and got dressed and found my sunglasses and put those on to hide my eyes. Got our grocery list ready to go and Brad and I were off to Wal-Mart. I even wore the sunglasses while we were in the store, hah. Got done shopping there and headed back home. Around 7:30PM, James and his girlfriend came over and we had our little cook out! James girlfriend and he are more vegetarians so they had veggie hot dogs, grilled pineapple and some chips. Brad and I had some yummy grilled hamburgers and hotdogs along with some pringles! Hell yes!!! I also ate some yummy cucumbers. Mmmm. They left after 9:30PM and not soon after that, Brad went onto bed. Oh, I also had my sunglasses on when James and his girlfriend came over and James called me a lobster! :blink: Hah. I stayed up and cleaned the animal cages and the living room then got online for a bit longer before going to bed.

Tuesday, I slept in late and It was soooo nice. Got up and took care of the animals then got online until Bradleeey got home!!! :love: When I woke up yesterday, my eyes weren’t as swollen but still a little so I put back on my sunglasses when Brad came home since I still didn’t want him to see me like that… I did the dishes, gave our Daxie poo a bath and did a few other things. Later on, I applied some face scrub neutrogena wash on my face and got in front of the air conditioner for a minute then washed it off and my swelling went down! Only thing now is, my face is really peeling like crazy but I guess that’s good. Attttttleast my eyes aren’t all puffy and swollen anymore. That was AWFUL! :yell: My bottom lip is beyond chapped. It’s all cracked and even bled a little earlier this evening. It’s getting better now and I hope It clears up real soon. I still had a hella good time swimming though!

Ohhh, earlier this evening, Brad and I ate leftover grilled hamburger and hotdogs for supper then watched Last Comic Standing on NBC!!! :grinny: It was pretty interesting. I’m not sure what we’re gonna do this weekend, really depends on money. Brad’s insurance went up over $60 because of his wreck. We really, really, really, really, really, really need to get Dax some flea medication so that he’ll stop scratching himself so much and I believe It’ll help his fur, too.

Just thought I’d share my sunburnt story, hah. I’m gonna check out some more sites then venture onto bed soonish. Thank you all so much for the comments on the previous entry!!!! I love getting comments! K. I’m gone!  

I’m so glad it’s the weekend! This last week I cleaned Brads Grandma’s house both Monday and Wednesday. She payed me so I got some money!!! :grinny: Of course.. American Idol came to an end and I’m so glad that Taylor won!!!! I was really hoping that Katherine wouldn’t.

Brad and I were attempting to decide what we wanted to do this weekend (Memorial Day weekend) and we were either a) going to go with friends to see X-Men 3 or b) going to the beach (well, it’s not a REAL beach but it’s close enough) and as the weekend got closer, I decided I wanted to go to the beach more! Friday after Brad got off work, we went to Wal-Mart and picked up picnic items, beach towel, ear plugs, sun block and a few other things. After we left there, stopped by Hardee’s and got some din-din. Friday night I didn’t go to bed until almost 3AM and I wanted to get up at 9:30AM. Brad woke me up a little before 9:30AM and we layed in bed together until 10:30AM then got up and I took care of the animals and we both ate a biscuit for breakfast. Got everything together and after getting everything in the van, we were off!!! The beach isn’t far from where we live either, which, is awesome!!!

We had a BLAST! If you know me at all, you know that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE :love: to swim! There’s nothing more I enjoy than being in the water. Swimming is so great. You get exercise and it’s time out in the sun! I can actually float on my back and not move my arms or legs/feet at all and my head and part of my feet sticking above the water! I also like to be out in the deep water and just use my feet to move only. Swimming is really and truly something I’m excellent at. I wouldn’t do it professionally though, hah.

Anyhow! Back to our time there… we arrived around 12:30pm. We swam for about 2 hours then got out and ate on a hill. Afterwards, I layed out on the beach towel while Brad sat on a bench. I guess I layed out for maybe an hour? Possibly. We got back in the water and swam, swam, swam! I would go to float on my back and Brad would drag me around by my feet and then tickle my feet, lol. :tongue: OH! And there were boats further down the river and they would send big waves our way and at one point, I was quite far out and Brad was back by the shore and when the waves came, I couldn’t see Brad then I’d see him and he was making this funny open-mouth “YAY” face (and this happened over and over) and I busted out laughing. It was hilarious! We finally got out a little after 5pm and I wanted to lay out some more so we layed out about 30 minutes more before we decided to go find a picnic table and eat again before leaving to go home. Oo, I really love the new sun block we bought! It’s the spray kind instead of lotion. SPF 30, too. Smells excellent!!! We ate more food then walked back to the van and we were homebound.

Shew. What I love about swimming is it gets you nice and tired, helps your skin feel tighter and for me, It just makes me feel really good! I feel more pumped after swimming. And I’m actually quite sore but that is such a goooood thing for me. I told Brad I’d LOVE to go quite often this summer and hopefully it’ll help me get back into a little bit better shape and help me obtain some kindof tan, maybe. Plus it’s just really lovely to get out!!!! As you can see from my cam picture, (which, I finally updated, rofl) my face got a bit burnt. My arms and shoulders are actually quite tan! (WOOT) My legs are semi-red semi-tan so that’s better than the pale white I was before I went today! And.. and! We’re going back (later) today!!! This time, Brad’s cousin James and his girlfriend Rebecca MIGHT be meeting us up there or we might go to another beach. I just can’t wait to go again! Doing things like this is what I’ve always wanted to do. To have a good man who will take me places and do fun things and here I am! :love: Monday, Brad is off for Memorial Day and I don’t think we’re gonna do anything since we went to the beach all weekend and I also have some cleaning I realllllly need to do since I’ve been slacking off this last week.

As far as this site goes.. I’ve finally got my Wordpress theme all tweaked and working! You can actually comment now!!! Finally figured out that my little comment form on the side was interferring with my Wordpress comments so I got rid of it for now. My navigation in Mozilla actually looked weird after I fixed up else on the side so I went back and fixed that as well! Thank you all who commented on my last entry! I’ve got a looot to catch up on. I need to comment on Xposure sites, check up on DisasterMB and also switch my content pages to Wordpress and a few other things here and there. Once again, I’ll try to do those things a bit at a time. I really appreciate the people who come here often and comment!

Okay, I am completely tired and worn out from today so I think I’m gonna check out a few more sites then head onto bed for another day at the beach!!!! :teeth: Hope everyone has an excellent (rest of) Memorial Day weekend and Memorial Day, too! That’s all for now, I’m ooout!!! :tongue:  

edit I’m working on tweaking my own wordpress theme that actually works, haha. finally found out from someone the comments weren’t working! sorry guys. Until I get my custom theme set up and working, I’ll just settle for this classic theme. and hey, you can actually comment with this theme! :dizzy: 

No one comments on my site anymore. :upset: Is it really that bad? Are the comments not working or am I just that boring?

Anyhow. Sorry I haven’t been updating. I’ve actually been keeping pretty busy come to think of it. I don’t know where to start, really. Abby’s puppies are all doing well except for the little runt. I think he’s hanging onto dear life.. the poor little guy. I don’t even know If he’ll make it through today or not. Makes me so sad. The other puppies are starting to wonder out of the dog house they are kept in and It’s so CUTE to see them come out and waddle around. Hehee. Yesterday was really awesome! Brad and I went to my best friend and her fiances wedding shower and had a really great time! We stayed from about noon until around 8:30PM. Really, really nice to talk to and be around more people! Yay for that much!!!

Brad’s Dad told him that we have to move out of this trailor by next March! Coz his Dad will have to clear off this land so Brad’s Aunt can move down and build her house on this land. Which means we’ll definetly have to start looking for a new place, which, I am COMPLETELY excited about! I’m sooo ready to move out of this trailor! All my other animals are doing gooood. I cleaned their cages late last night. Daxter, our Pomeranian, is still spunky as EVER and I’m still fighting to get him some-what potty trained. *sigh*

I really need to fix up and spice up my site. Make it more.. appealing or something. It’s just when I do get online – I visit my dailies, check my LJ then post on DisasterMB a little bit and by the time I’m done with all that, a lot of time has passed and we have to go somewhere or do something and I don’t get time to. I’ll try to do a little here and there. OH, Saturday, after Brad and I went grocery shopping, I got to drive part of the way home! I was really scared. I did it though! Then Saturday evening, we went to Brad’s Aunts house for her little girls 7th birthday party. It was pretty cool. Yenno, I’ll have a LOT more time to do things during the week now that all the shows have gone off for the summer. There was a show just about every day that we would watch. Monday – How I Met Your Mother. Tuesday – American Idol. Wednesday – American Idol, Bones. Thursday – Will & Grace, My Name Is Earl, ER. And that was it! Their ALL gone for the summer.. cept for Will & Grace and their gone forever. I’ll probably watch the last American Idol episode and that’ll be it.

I’m thinking I may transfer my content pages into Wordpress pages but I’m not sure If I want to coz the about me and love content pages are REALLY long. Eh, I’ll see about it. Suppose I could transfer them into Wordpress pages then just make that pop up, possibly. There are a lot of things I’d like to get done.

#1 – get Dax his flea medicine, #2 – go to the doctor, #3 – drive more and eventually get my drivers license, #4 – get a job and #5 – see about college! I’m really hoping to get those things done ASAP!

Well. It’s nearing 8AM and I gotta take care of the animals, get dressed, possibly eat a little somethin and then Brad’s Grandma is coming to pick me up and I’m gonna clean her house and she’s gonna pay me! Yaaaay money!!! :grinny:
