HAPPY LABOR DAY

I’m so glad things are turning around. It’s amazing how things can change so fast and this time It’s FOR THE BETTER, thank goodness! Today started off great… with Brad and I having a WAKE UP call I guess you could say, heh. Once Katie was up, I let Brad feed her while I fixed my breakfast. After I ate, I HEADED OUTSIDE! That’s right!!! To gooooo running! The last 2 days my body has been “telling” me that the balance between exercise/food STILL isn’t right. I tried to back off exercise a little and keep my calories up but It didn’t work SO here we go again! I’m backing off exercise even moreso — to 150-200 calories a day and eating 1600-1700 calories and just SEE where that puts me. I am DETERMINED to lose the weight I gained from all this hormonal imbalance crap that I did to myself. Anyway! I went outside and I was OFF! I wanted to jog for about 8 minutes one way and 8 minutes back home so that’s what I did. Once again, I didn’t STOP the whole time!!! I sprinted hard when I was almost home! In total, I did around 1.53 miles and burned about 196 calories. Brad was on potty training duty! I came in, washed dishes, ate a protein bar then got a quick shower. Not long after I got mine, Brad got a quick one too. I fixed my hair then we headed out for groceries! I ate a peach on the way there. Our church friend was waiting for us when we got back to help Brad with the car. I put away groceries, started to fix my lunch, fed Katie hers then it was time for the usual nap. After lunch, I fixed and put away our chicken for meals this week. My calorie intake for today totaled up to ~1630 and this afternoon I’ve been eating small snacks almost every hour. Later this evening after our church friend left, Brad was still working on the car outside and I was SO DRAINED so I had to lay down. I laid down and took a very short nap and that gave me a little burst of refreshment. I think my body is having trouble restoring energy or somethin, lol.

After Katie got back up, we just hung out and then later Brad and I played SUPER MARIO BROS on the Wii for a little bit! It was fun! We haven’t played that in a loong while. I got Katie’s dinner ready and fed her while Brad cooked our turkey burgers and I cooked the sides. Turkey burgers and a side of steamers veggies and black eyed peas! I just finished mine and Brad ate his then headed out to go run on the track with his friends.

I’m excited about tomorrow! We’re going back to our church Temple!!! Brad’s Mom is going to come watch Katie again for us. We’re leaving around 3:45PM I think? We won’t be back till around 10PM or so. It’s going to be a BUSY yet awesome day!

Hope everyone has had a great Labor Day! I bought some fat free chocolate ice cream so I’m going to go make an ice cream cone!!!

Last night Brad and I had quite a discussion about everything. We both want the same thing — to love one another and be happy but we just to have to work on our relationship and focusing on us. I broke down pretty hard last night and he comforted me. That means a lot to me since all this has went down, espically with all that’s been on my shoulders lately and feel so confused and lost about EVERYTHING plus pratically losing my mind being a stay at home Mom and then the strife between Brad and I equals NO GOOD but I am happy to say that we are working on heading in the right direction. I want to be with him always! I was really determined to get to Georgia to be able to have a babysitter for Katie and everything but after talking to someone about it, me going away from Brad is not going to help our relationship. I know we can make our love stronger that It’s ever been as long as we both strive for it!

Church this morning also really helped lift my spirits — as It always does. My friend Julie drove Katie and me home then I fed her lunch and let her play for a bit. Brad came home then I put Katie down for a nap then off for my LONG walk to talk on the phone with my Mom! It felt AWESOME outside!!!!!! Eventually me, Brad and Katie headed off to explore the woods by our house. Katie had a blast, of course. She’s currently playing with her toys and I’m about to start dinner then get her ready for bed! After she goes down for the night, I’m gonna wash off, we’ll eat dinner then watch our Netflix movie!

Things were looking pretty grim for a bit there but I know good things are to come. I know it with a surety because I have faith and hope. I believe in love, I believe in us. Always. ALWAYS!
