Exhaustion

We’ve had quite the day!!! I had such a wonderful time at church this morning. After church, we headed over to the Art Festival that they had set up today and yesterday. It was so cool to see people’s art. Ventured back home and put Katie down for her nap and I eventually ate some lunch. After Katie got up and was fed, we headed out to start buying our NECESSITY list with our tax money! I GOT A NEW RUG FOR OUR LIVING ROOM! We’ve needed a new one for a long while now. I got a new exercise bra, undies and Brad got a new nice button-up blue shirt and a new pair of jeans! He’s so happy because the shirt is an XL!! He hasn’t worn an XL since before he was in HIGH SCHOOL! Squeee! We got Katie new shoes and a POTTY CHAIR! I stocked up on cleaning supplies and things we needed for the house like light bulbs and paper towels.

I feel so blessed! THE NECESSITY LIST CONTINUES TOMORROW! We’ve got another busy day tomorrow starting with opening a SAVINGS ACCOUNT to put money into followed by me getting more blood drawn THEN paying off the rest of our bed. That will be all in the morning then in the afternoon we’re heading to another town to buy some things for our chinchilla and possibly a handful of others things for us. I’m gonna look into some new running shoes because I need them BADLY.

Well my site is giving me a forbidden error so again I’m relyin on Notepad!! Ugh I am worn the heck out. Sleep is in my near future indeed. I’m excited to start a new week with my exercise to see what I can do with LESS exercise and my new exercise bra is SO COMFORTABLE. YAY! Anyhow, I’m out.

DRAG

RAAAAAH. I am so dragging today! I know I over worked my body this week with my exercise and you would think I’d learn my lesson from over working my exercise in the past but nope!!! Stubborn ole’ me decided to try it anyway and so I gained a pound this week. THAT ALWAYS HAPPENS when I do too much exercise so next week I am going back to what I was doing and even a little less because that seems to work better. Don’t know what I was thinking. I always push myself a bit harder than need be… guess that’s the determination and stubborn-ness in me.

Brad gets to work overtime tonight till 11pm so that is excellent since he decided to stay home almost a whole day yesterday and then he has to work overtime Tuesday TOO so that is even better. I’ve figured out what we’re gonna do with our TAX MONEY! Pay off our COMPUTERS that we’ve been paying on since 2006, lol. Pay off our bed that we got last year and so that is two payments finished!!! Put a big chunk of the money into a hard SAVINGS account to build up then use the rest in different ways. I’m sooo excited because we finally get to buy necessary items that we’ve been needing! I just want to be sure to be so careful with every cent so we don’t end up with an empty bank account like we have so many times before.

Ugh my eyes hurt… we watched The Office last night! SO FRIGGIN CUTEEEEEE! I love Jim and Pam. I was going to post more but I’m too tired to think so THE END!

Sacrafices

We all have to make sacrafices in our daily lives. When we had Katie, Brad and I of course made sacrafices in that we couldn’t just hop in the truck and go anymore. We had to learn to plan and make sure we had all that we needed for Katie on any trip. Many other parenting sacrafices have been made along the way.

TIME is a big sacrafice. I have learned to use my time as wisely as I can. No matter what I am going to sacrafice my time to make sure that I get all that I NEED to get done and It helps me see the GOOD in life.
[I MAKE SACRAFICES BY MAKING TIME….]
~ to chop up fruits and veggies to have in the fridge
~ to exercise
~ for prayer, church study and church attendance
~ to make sure Katie is content
~ to write up a grocery shopping list
~ to write up meals for the week
~ to sit down and look at our money budget

All these things have brought more peace and happiness into my life. Sacrafice is GOOD. Make plans then take ACTION and use all time wisely. Those plans are what bring forth the motivation to get those actions done!

OUR TAX MONEY hit the bank, woo! I’m trying to sort out a savings plan for us so we can get something good going for us as far as money goes. Brad wasn’t feeling well earlier today so he decided to just stay home when he came home for his lunch break. WELL for the first time in a loooong time I actually burned more than 100 calories for a Friday workout!!! I did a hard workout on the Wii Active then did 30 ankle slappers, 100 crunches, 10 upright rows, 10 arm curls, 10 reverse pull-ups then did an easier workout with the Active. A bit later I ended the workout with a mile long walk on the treadmill so WOOO! I weigh-in tomorrow morning as I do every Saturday just to see where my weight stands. I’ve been REALLY trying to balance my calories and exercise this week so we’ll see what the result will yield from it tomorrow!

What sacrafices do you make in your daily lives?
