I’M SO EXCITED. Why? My husband and I GET TO SLEEP ON A NEW MATTRESS TONIGHT! Well… hopefully tonight If we can get it upstairs LOL.

I think today has been one of the busiest days I’ve had in a long time. I got up at 8:30AM this morning, ate breakfast then got straight on the treadmill so I could go ahead and get my exercise out of the way for the day since we knew we had to TRY to leave early to go look at mattresses. Did my exercise, got Katie up and fed her while Brad went out and paid some bills. Once he got back, I put Katie in her crib while we got a shower. I went ahead and fixed my lunch to have on the go and then had to go fix my hair and get ready to go. One last thing we had to wait for was a friend was coming to pick up his computer (he dropped it off a few days ago for Brad to look at) and once he picked that up, we were out the door!

Drove out to Brad’s Moms house and talked a little before driving out to the furniture warehouse. They had some pretty nice furniture but nothing like the furniture at the Ashley Furniture place. Looked around a bit then checked out the Queen mattresses and they had like 3 to 4 choices. To make a VERY long story short we finally decided to go with a mattress there instead of Ashley but… *sniff* I really loved those but we would have been paying for like, 4 years on an Ashley mattress. The one we got is really soft with a pillowtop and it’s a QUEEN instead of a FULL like ours is right now. Katie did really well except after a while she got so tired she passed out in her stroller and I know she was starving since I didn’t bring a bottle with us since I didn’t think getting papers and faxes would take friggin FOREVER. We were there for 4 HOURS and I think It took the paper work like 2 of those hours. Ugh!! They loaded our mattress and we were finally ready to go. We got everything inside off the truck now tonight we have to take apart our old bed and bring the new upstairs. I CANNOT WAIT to have a REAL nights sleep. It has a 15 year warrenty so that sounds good to me. I’m starving!! We ate a little at Brad’s Moms house after we got the mattress but I only ate a little bit since we usually eat dinner so late but I think I’m gonna go see what I can fix up for us for when Brad comes home. He went out with people from church to teach a family. I think we’re gonna go to Wal-Mart when he gets home to get some Queen sheets since we have NONE.

Yeah I think I’m gonna go see what I can fix up since now I am starving. I’ll have post tomorrow about whether or not we got our mattress up the stairs and got to sleep on it or not, lol.
