After Brad and I got up and ate breakfast, It started snowing! Right when Brad walked out the door for work It was snowing big flakes!!! It lasted for a few hours and we wound up getting “maybe” an inch? Nothing to jump and jive too much over but I’m happy we got a little somethin. After Katie went down for her nap, I went outside to a clean spot of snow and collected a pile to make SNOW ICE CREAM!

What is snow ice cream? Some people call it “snow cream” but my family always called it SNOW ICE CREAM! You just take some clean snow and mix it with vanilla extract, sugar, milk or cream then blend well and freeze it and you have your delicious snow ice cream. I had to kindof make the best of what we have as far as ingredients so I took vanilla extract, almond milk, powered sugar and a little lite cool whip to make ours! Not as sweet but we don’t need anything too sweet anyway. I’ve ate on mine a little bit throughout the day. Brad looked at his before he went back to work after his lunch break and It was still in slushie form so he put it back in the freezer. We’ll have them for dessert!

OMG. We had the best dinner last night. We had our baked, breaded chicken and we bought some mushrooms and squash to bake with the chicken. It was seriously so awesome! We had a side of green beans and so overall a very, very healthy meal and I couldn’t ask for more!!! YUM. Oooo Brad has never seen the movie What’s Eating Gilbert Grape with Johnny Depp and we got it in the mail yesterday with Netflix so hopefully we’ll get to watch it tonight. It’s such a good movie!

Basically my day. Katie is really starting to try to talk, lol. She tries to say “patty cake” but says one word for it slurred together. It’s cute. She’s also trying to mimic my “thank you” and “bless you”. Heh. I’m thankful for the little snow we got today. What a beautiful sight and It’s all created by Heavenly Father. I will always glory in the beauty of all that is around me! Enjoy your evenings!
