We all have to make sacrafices in our daily lives. When we had Katie, Brad and I of course made sacrafices in that we couldn’t just hop in the truck and go anymore. We had to learn to plan and make sure we had all that we needed for Katie on any trip. Many other parenting sacrafices have been made along the way.
TIME is a big sacrafice. I have learned to use my time as wisely as I can. No matter what I am going to sacrafice my time to make sure that I get all that I NEED to get done and It helps me see the GOOD in life.
[I MAKE SACRAFICES BY MAKING TIME….]
~ to chop up fruits and veggies to have in the fridge
~ to exercise
~ for prayer, church study and church attendance
~ to make sure Katie is content
~ to write up a grocery shopping list
~ to write up meals for the week
~ to sit down and look at our money budget
All these things have brought more peace and happiness into my life. Sacrafice is GOOD. Make plans then take ACTION and use all time wisely. Those plans are what bring forth the motivation to get those actions done!
OUR TAX MONEY hit the bank, woo! I’m trying to sort out a savings plan for us so we can get something good going for us as far as money goes. Brad wasn’t feeling well earlier today so he decided to just stay home when he came home for his lunch break. WELL for the first time in a loooong time I actually burned more than 100 calories for a Friday workout!!! I did a hard workout on the Wii Active then did 30 ankle slappers, 100 crunches, 10 upright rows, 10 arm curls, 10 reverse pull-ups then did an easier workout with the Active. A bit later I ended the workout with a mile long walk on the treadmill so WOOO! I weigh-in tomorrow morning as I do every Saturday just to see where my weight stands. I’ve been REALLY trying to balance my calories and exercise this week so we’ll see what the result will yield from it tomorrow!
What sacrafices do you make in your daily lives?
