We watched our Netflix movie last night… The Blind Side! AWESOME MOVIE. I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today started out OK then got pretty stressful. Between Katie’s tantrums and all the work I had (and still HAVE) to get done, I was feeling pretty overwhelmed. Brad got a call from his Army recruiter this morning. See, he was supposed to report to them TOMORROW morning. Well, they called this morning and said they wanted him to come up there ASAP because they needed him today instead of tomorrow so he called his work and told them then headed out! All I’ve done all day is listen to a 2 year old whine, potty training, online work and I just put Katie to bed and am just starting to eat my dinner. I still have a mound of online work to finish. Rewind a little… Hubby got home around 3pm? I think? He ate lunch then headed back to work at 5pm and plans to work some overtime tonight and I sure hope he does because we need all the extra moola we can get right now.

IT’S SO FLIPPIN HOT!!!!!!!! We have a window unit in our living room but the rest of the house stays PRETTY HOT. Espically in the evening when I cook dinner. Between the stove and the microwave going – I break out in a sweat! It’s almost 8PM and still 88 degrees. Our heat index today got up around 114… sheesh.

The highlight of my day was this evening. Actually, not too long ago. There was a knock at my door and It was a brother who had traveled all the way here to Alabama from Utah to spread the word about the Living Scriptures. The way he presented himself, I could clearly see the Spirit was with him. His words were just what I needed! Well I had better finish dinner and then get back to my work!
