Still sick and have sinus drainage.

Still haven’t recieved Brad’s check in the mail.

STILL WANT TO GET BETTER.

I woke up at 8AM this morning and went to pee. I thought about getting up but was so tired so I went back to sleep. We didn’t get up till almost 11AM! Brad got ready for work and I called Mom to see If she wanted to watch Katie today while I cleaned house and she said she would. Brad dropped her off before he had to leave for work. It was nice to be home alone and clean!!!!!!!! My day consisted of cleaning, taking meds and doing sinus washes and taking a short nap in the afternoon since I just felt so tired. My Mom and Aunt brought Katie home sometime after 5PM and we just hung out the rest of the evening.

Still have the tornado victims on my mind.

Still feeling blessed to be alive no matter what struggles I have because I know my life is a gift!

Waiting for hubby to get home so we can chill out and watch our shows! There’s a firetruck and police car at our apartments…. wonder what’s going on???

SQUEE. I’m so excited!!!!!!!!!!! I got a call this morning while we were still asleep and It was from a guy at our church Temple! I had applied for the cleaning job recently and they wanted to get me in for an INTERVIEW today around 3-4PM!!! I was so nervous because I didn’t know how I would get there and plus we got up late this morning so I still had everything else to do along with planning this. I decided to ask my cousin’s fiance since she was home If she would be available to take me and she said yes! I called the guy back and got scheduled for a 4PM interview!! We’ve never been to the Atlanta Temple since it’s been closed the last 2 years for re-construction. Brad found out that his hours at work are being cut since It was only a temporary full-time job so that sucks…. our rent is due by atleast the 3rd and Brad still hasn’t gotten his 1st work check in the mail even though they said they sent it! We have enough to pay rent but that’s IT. We reallllllllllllllllly need that check right now!

After figuring all that out this morning and Brad getting ready, I called Mom to see If she would watch Katie today since I had the interview and she said yes so Brad took Katie and her things in tow and dropped her off then he headed off to work. I ate, got a shower then logged into my online classroom for college!! I’ve already got a head start on my work and I’ll probably have everything done by the time Tuesday rolls around, lol. That’s a great thing though because I love to be on top and even ahead! I talked to my advisor today and he can see I am quite the fast person when it comes to assignments and learning! Heh. I’m sooooo excited to get my college education. Anyhow! I started a little on my work then fixed my hair, got dressed then met up with my cousin’s fiance and we were off! The Temple is GORGEOUS… I waited out front for the guy to come out to me then he led me back to the laundry room where I’ll be working. He was very nice! It only took about 10 minutes then I was on my way. My cousin’s fiance had an errand to run so I waited on the steps outside and talked to Mom on the phone. Well, 2 people tried to call through while I was talking to Mom. I didn’t check my messages until my cousin’s fiance came to pick me up like 15 minutes later. The first message was from my college advisor’s helper and the other was from the guy who just interviewed me! We were just down the road when I was listening to his message and he said, “Can you turn around and come back to meet someone else?” so I told my cousin’s fiance to turn around and go back! Haha!! I met up with another guy and he also interviewed me so I guess that was the 2nd interview I might have had to come back to. He said they would let me know by Monday!!!!!!!! It would be such an HONOR and blessing to work in the Holy Temple. I really hope I get it! If it’s meant to be then I will! If Heavenly Father wants me there then that is where I shall be. If not then I shall continue to apply and search for jobs!

After we left the Temple (for good) then my cousin’s fiance wanted to stop by Target on the ride home so that was fine by me! She picked up a few things then we headed back. Mom and my Aunt brought Katie home about 6:45pm and then they left. Katie played then I put her to bed! I’m sitting here finishing dinner and Brad should be coming home pretty soon!!!

Ick… my sinuses are definetly draining now! I don’t know If it’s the meds or the apple cider vinegar that I’ve been (attempting) to drink but something is helping clear them out and It’s definetly infection as proved by the color of the drainage. Just gotta keep doing what I’m doing until it’s COMPLETELY GONE!!!!

I’m so thankful for my Heavenly Father and everything He has given me in this life. I know If I got to work in His Holy Temple that-that would only help my spiritual side grow while also helping me provide for my family.

My prayers go out to all those who suffered or lost with the tornadoes that went through Alabama, Mississippi and Georgia! We didn’t get anything except rain, thunder and lightning so we really got lucky compared to so, so many others. My hearts go out to all those families!

I AM SO IRRITATED I COULD PULL EVERY HAIR OUT OF MY HEAD. We tried a new method with Katie and her potty training since she was STILL PEEING AND POOPING IN HER PULL-UP even If I take her EVERY 20 MINUTES but it’s NOT WORKING. It’s ridiculous because I KNOW SHE KNOWS what she is doing because she learns REALLY fast and is REALLY smart. I’m frustrated beyond belief with her.

FORGET IT. It causes me too much stress and If I’m gonna try to put her on the potty every 20 minutes and then her turn around and pee/poop in that pull-up THEN WHAT’S THE POINT?!!!!! We’ve tried giving her books while she’s on the potty, tried giving her discipline when she pees/poops anyway and I don’t know what else to do and neither does my Mom but I can’t keep doing it because it is stressing me out beyond belief.

AND DON’T GET ME STARTED ON THIS STUPID SINUS INFECTION. I’m taking cold meds then mucinex DM and Nyquil in the evenings PLUS sinus irrigation 4 times a day and I’m still fighting this thing. I’m SO SICK OF BEING SICK. I stepped on the scale this morning and I gained another pound… PERFECT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t know. I just feel lost.

Wow. So many cities in Mississippi and Alabama today have been hit by Tornadoes and a few of the cities have been leveled by these tornadoes…. their heading towards us tonight! I’m not exactly sure how bad it’s gonna get but just gotta pray that it doesn’t get too bad.

Today’s been alright. Brad went to work this morning and I finished my financial aid stuff for college. Katie went down for her nap and I took a shower, talked to my college advisor then had my online classroom tour!! Brad got to come home early tonight since it was slow and now we’re just trying to keep up with the weather.

We’re gonna watch last night’s biggest loser before these storms roll in!!!!

Another day of sickness. I am starting to have drainage so I’d say that’s good!!! Slowly but surely.

We got up late and hung around. Brad had to rush rush to get ready to head out for his JOB INTERVIEW!!! Katie was very good for me today and even went pee on the potty every time I took her and kept her pull-up dry! While Brad was gone I finished as much of my college financial aid application as I could and also applied online for Wal-Mart! I put Katie down for nap and Brad arrived home shortly afterwards. He said the interviewer wasn’t prepared for the interview because they thought It was Friday instead of today so that made it a little awkward but we’ll see! They said they’d call him this week to let him know whether he got it or not! I think he’s got it. Heh. I watched the latest episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenager then got Katie up. My college advisor called me in the late afternoon to check in on me and see how the financial aid process was coming along.

I ran out of my gel cap cold meds so we loaded up this evening to Wal-Mart to get some dissolvable cold med tablets plus some protein bars! We walked around the store for a short bit then came on home. Katie just went to bed not long ago and now we’re waiting on dinner to finish. I also took my blood pressure at Wal-Mart and it was 105/56 and my pulse was 86… ugh. I’ve felt pretty rough all day.

Please go away sinus infection.

Heh. Brad is already enrolled with an online college University and I am on my way to being registered too!!! I’m gonna get my Associate and Bachelor Degree in 4 years is the plan! Associate in Business and Bachelor in Health and Wellness so I can put my passion of health and fitness to GREAT use!!!!!! I’m so excited! I loved school and I can tell from all the things Brad has described to me so far about how the online college works that I am really going to enjoy it. PLUS I’ll be extra busy and that’s what I need. With both us getting Bachelor’s then we can both get higher paying jobs to help us live so much more comfortably!

Today’s been buuuuusy! We got up and Brad felt terrible so he decided to call in sick for work. We took Katie over to Moms so we could go grocery shopping. We picked Katie up then stopped by Krogers since Wal-Mart didn’t have bagged red apples and I also forgot to get grapes so Brad picked those up too. Once we got home I had to do this and that then fix some lunch and the college advisor called me at 2:45PM and I was on the phone with him for a long while getting started with registration and whatnot. He wanted me to go to the FedEx office to sign a paper for the registration and Brad didn’t want to take me because he had just taken some cold meds… I asked Mom and she didn’t want to and my cousin had to work late but Brad eventually decided to take me so I got that fax done then talked more with the advisor. I’ve got other things to finish completing but my online classroom tour is Wednesday and I start my class next Tuesday! Brad’s classes “officially” start tomorrow even though he’s already got his work and started on a little.

Now I am truly stuffed up! Feeling pretty rough too.. my throat is a tiny tiny scratchy. FUN! We picked up some Nyquil night time so I’m gonna take some of that a bit before bed tonight. Brad’s got his interview tomorrow!!!! WOOT!

My to-do list:
– finish applying for online college
– work on getting my driver’s license
– apply for some jobs

Yup yup! I’m excited for us. So excited! If I could just kick this whole sinus infection and get some energy back then I could focus more on exercise and weight loss again but I’ve gotta get completely better first. One step at a time!! Thankful, grateful and blessed for everything my Heavenly Father has given me in this life! Always!

HAPPY EASTER! We got up and went to church and everything went well! Afterwards we had to rush home so Brad could get his food together then head out the door for work. I called Mom since she told me yesterday on the phone that her, my aunt and cousin were gathering with food at her house for Easter and said me and Katie should join so I told her I’d call after we got home from church so I did! Mom drove over and finally got to see our apartment!!! We loaded up and went to hang out at her house. Katie eventually went down for nap and we just talked! It was good to just talk to Mom. My aunt and cousin came over later then we ate and talked.

…. but the only bad thing is the cigarette smoke. Espically with this sinus infection? The smoke only makes it WORSE. I stayed over there like 5 hours? I felt worse and worse and I just wanted to go home. My cousin drove us home about 5:30ish? Brad got to come home early from work and he hasn’t felt good either so he’s catching what I’ve got!

I just took a nice hot bath to relax. We’re eating dinner and about to watch new eppys of ONE TREE HILLLLLLL and Fringe! Thankful for my Savior and for Easter to remember his resurrection and THE ATONEMENT! I’m so grateful for The Gospel and every blessing I have. Forever and eternally grateful!!!!!!!

Saturday, saturday! We got up late as we have been and headed out to pick up a few things at the store then had to hurry back so Brad could get ready and leave for work. Katie threw a little fit when he was getting ready but I put on BLUE’S CLUES! for her and she sat down and shut up, haha. She eventually had lunch then went down for nap. I took a shower and got pretty sleepy but resisted the urge to nap since I had to get her back up soon. After she got up and had her snack I put her on the potty then let her go play in the living room while I closed the door to the bathroom and fixed/styled my hair. When I was done I called her to the bathroom so I could put her on the potty again. We got back into the living room and I see IT. SHE PULLED EVERYTHING OFF THE LAST 2 SHELVES ON OUR BOOKSHELF AND EVEN TOOK THE VHS TAPES OUT OF THEIR CASES!! Wow. I was HOT. I gave her a few good licks on the leg then put her in her CHAIR and told her to SIT. She’s been good all day and then DOES THAT?! She KNOWS better than to EVER mess with our bookcase and ANYTHING on it. It could have fallen on her!!!!!!!! *SIGH*

Guess I can’t leave her for 2 seconds. RAaaaaah. The rest of the evening we just hung out and I watched some music videos online. Exciting right?! I know… story of my life!

Cooking dinner and listening to some music currently. Brad called me on his break a bit ago and said it was pretty busy so he probably won’t get home till 10:30ish or so.

Ugh my sinuses are so heavy that when I lean forward my eyes feel like their gonna buldge out of their sockets. Just gotta keep fighting this sickness. Fight fight fight!!!!!!! Ready to be fully well again!

Happy Good Friday everyone!

I watched William Shakespear’s Romeo and Juliet last night… the dialogue is really hard to follow but I liked it of course. We stayed up later than usual and had a late night excellent romp, heh.

My day was plain and simple.
– got to sleep in this morning a little more
– brad went to work
– katie played + the usual potty duties
– poo’d in her pull-up…
– did 2 loads of laundry
– applied for a job with my church!
– got so sleepy so took a nap while katie was taking hers
– my cousin dropped by!
– brad came home early from work

Just finished dinner and about to watch a new episode of Bones and possibly The Office. My back hurts… I know the weight gain has not helped it, ha. Still don’t feel well. Sigh.

More body aches and weakness today… also felt a bit warm on the forehead this morning. We eventually got ready and went to cash a check that we got from our last gas company! Yay for getting money back, lol. We went to Wal-Greens so I could try to figure out what I wanted to buy to help me. The Netipot is good for a gentle wash but I read the sinuflo ready rinse squeeze bottle is a higher pressure way to rinse the sinuses and is better for trying to unclog mucus – which is JUST what I’m trying to do!!!!! I got that then took forever deciding on what I wanted to get as far as to help my general CRAP feeling… I eventually went with liquid Theraflu for Sinus and Cold and also picked up some more Vitamin C packets. The Theraflu has really helped me not feel SO crappy. Ugh…….. come on mucus! Get OUT of my sinuses!

In GREAT news… Brad got a call from the temp job agency about ANOTHER JOB! It’s a full time temp-to-permanent job at Yamaha! He would be handling the front desk with calls, packages, etc and he starts OUT at $11 and will deffo have raises! The temp agency took Brad’s resume to that company and the woman said she wanted to get an interview for him ASAP! OMG!!!!!!! He goes Tuesday at 1PM and I’m pretty sure he’ll get it! It’s Mon-Fri 8-5 so that is excellent! Also, he starts online college Tuesday! His advisor is wanting me to get on board too and I need to but I can’t focus and just feel like crap so I know It would be hard to keep up with school work plus everything else right now.

I just want WHATEVER JUNK (could be fungal, bacterial or viral OR ALL OF THEM) that’s in my sinus cavity that is RUINING MY LIFE to be gone!!!! I told Brad I sure hope that I can get rid of this before summer is here. I want to enjoy it! I could be out running or doing so many things If I wasn’t so sick.

As Brad mentioned to me earlier… just gotta be patient. Yes, yes. Yes, of course… rah.
