Brad was supposed to wake me up at 6AM this morning, but I actually woke up around 4:50AM then again closer to 6AM, so I went ahead and got up. I got an early start on cleaning house, and Katie got up, fed her, then cleaned a bit more. I had to be at the church at 9:30AM, so I made my lunch and put Katie’s lunch (for Brad to give to her later) in the fridge. Brad drove me out to the church and we got there just in time!
First, the teachers met for a little information on the activities and then the kids arrived and we sang a song before splitting off into our classes. I went with my kids and we did a “get to know you” activity with skittles… of course they loved that! The second activity was coloring a poster shield to represent the class, and they said we could decorate it with a motto, class rules, or just anything. I let the girls (and one boy) just be creative and decorate it how they wanted to. Some other classes had a much neater approach, but lol I figured I would let them just do what they wanted to and express themselves. I drew a glitter glue heart! The last part of the activities was that the kids came back together in the main room with the other classes and they had a “scavenger hunt”! They had a pencil and piece of paper and they had to complete each activity, and tried to get done first. In the end, they got chocolate coins. NEXT…. THE BIG EVENT! The……. PIZZA PARTY! Gosh, the kids went wild! Haha. We went into the gym and they had pizza, juice, carrots, and rice krispy treats for a dessert. After the food, the kids ran and played in the gym. Crazy loud! It was SOOOOO NICE to talk to some other adults. I honestly didn’t want to leave! ;D One of the sisters was kind enough to bring me home. I enjoyed talking to her, too.
Katie went down for her nap after I got home, then after she got up and had a snack – we headed out! We went to this little health store we’ve been to before. Whole Foods was out of some of the things that I was looking at, so I wanted to look at the Life Grocery health store. I found the stuff I wanted!
SOOO between the stuff I got at Whole Foods and from Life Grocery, here is my current plan to help my health situation:
– POTENT PROBIOTICS
– THE *STRONGEST* DIGESTIVE ENZYMES I COULD FIND
– HIGH QUALITY FLAX OIL
– LIQUID MULTIVITAMIN/MINERAL
– LIQUID IODINE
– LIQUID IRON
Since I don’t absorb or digest things that well and lots of food cause not-so-good reactions/symptoms, I’m gonna try liquids/powders instead of tablets/capsules. I’ve taken all the stuff today, and took the stuff I got tonight after we got home and I actually feel relaxed! Chilled out.
I CAN’T WAIT TO EAT DINNER!!! We’re gonna have baked potatos and veggies…. simple and I haven’t had a baked potato in foreverz! Speaking of food, I tried my gluten-free waffles this morning and they were pretty good, but I prefer the gluten-free pancake mix I used to make pancakes a while back over the waffles. Also, my gluten-free bread? IS AWESOME… especially with DAIYA cheese! MMM MMM MMMMMM.
Ok, so now I’m eating dinner. These taters are AH-MAZING. I need to get my church lesson for the kiddies ready for tomorrow morning, get a shower, and go to bed!
I’m so thankful for my life and for my Heavenly Father. I’m gonna keep trying and working to get my health and ENERGY BACK ON TRACK, so I can be as energetic, clear-minded, and athletic as I truly want to be and SHOULD BE. =)
