I – AM – SO – HAPPPPPPPPPY !!! 😀 I woke up this morning at almost 8am, I think? Had a pee, but went back to sleep until around 9am before finally getting up to pee and to start the day. After Katie was up, fed, potty duties, then I set her up with cartoons and CLEANED HOUSE! Really thankful that Brad helps me out with a few of the Saturday cleaning chores. That makes me super DUPER happy. It was beautiful outside. After I finished cleaning, I got all my snacks and meals ready just incase I needed them for later when we were out and about. We got on our GYM CLOTHES, dropped Katie off @ Mom’s, then went to our new home: RETRO FITNESS to meet up with our personal trainer (nicknamed “G”) for a session. G IS AWESOME. He’s a muscle-y black guy with a sense of humor! =) He talked to us for a bit, got our measurements, then we did a mini intense lower & upper workout. My current stats: 33% body fat, 166lbs (with clothes+shoes still on). We talked about goals and he wants me to lose minimum of 22lbs in 3-3 1/2 months @ about 7 pounds a month. I WANT TO CRUSH THIS GOAL!!!!! Oh and I’m looking to add 10 POUNDS of muscle, woooooooot. Brad also got his goals set up – his goal is still 200, like it always has been and to put on 15 pounds of muscle. He said that he’ll get us set up with a good solid full body workout program, even tho we can’t afford his training sessions, he’s still gonna “help us out”! He is AWESOMEEEEEEE. We still get 1 more free session and he wants us to do our next sessions seperate, so that we can get our workout program set up. He wants us to workout 4-5 days a week and each workout – 10 minute cardio warmup, 30-45 minute strength training, and 30-45 minutes of cardio to finish off and he said more like 45 minutes on the cardio for me. Of course he said DIET IT KEY and I agreeeeeeeeeee. This new “strict” diet is really helping me feel OK and not drained or anything. Energy still needs to bump up, but it’s getting there!
After the session, G said “Alright, now go do your cardio!” lol. I got on one of the AWESOME exercise bikes, that has virtal bike courses and I did 4 miles, 153 calories in 20 minutes, with my heart rate between 150’s, then highest was 173. To finish off, I jumped off there and went for the elliptical for 25 minutes and burned 222 calories, with my heart rate right around 156 or so. EXCELLENT! Almost 400 calories baby!!!!! Decided to save my snacks and get a whey protein shake at their smoothie bar instead! I tried Brad’s and his was really good and so was mine. The guy who usually works at the front desk / smoothie bar is always giving out small samples of his own “mixes” lol so we have gotten samples every night we’ve went! WOOT. And you know what? I felt good afterwards. OH and there was a fat burner in my smoothie and I also added an energy boost. I still feel good right now, but getting a little tired. SO STOKED ABOUT ALL THIS! We left and headed over to Goodwill and I got some CUTE new shirts + a pair of capri’s, pair of workout pants + workout shirts. Brad got a few things too. Last stop was Wal-Mart to pick up trash bags, clothes hangers, and Brad got some snack stuff. Came back to Mom’s to get Katie… brought her home and Brad gave her a bath and put her to bed. I tried on my new clothes, hung them all up, got a shower, studied for my church lesson with the kiddos tomorrow, and now I’m posting this and gonna fiddle online a bit more then get some sleep!
I’m just ——- ahhhh so excited! =) Also, G knows about my thyroid stuff and he said that he’s gonna help me get where I want to be. YES! So, means I’m hoping to lose 22lbs by sometime in JULY. First goal weight: around 140-144, then final goal: 122-135, depending on MUSCLEEEEEEE! Gonna be LEAN and have awesome muscle tone and I will not STOP until I GET IT. Then, when I DO get that, I’m gonna work to KEEP IT and feel amazingly awesome.
I’m so thankful, grateful, and blessed for this chance I have to live on this beautiful Earth. I’m thankful for all that I have learned through The Gospel. Thankful for my Heavenly Father. Thankful that my life is finally “brightening” up and that I am ON MY WAY to being SUPER FIT again and to have high, high energy again.
