I woke up at like 7AM this morning, went back to sleep then woke up again at 8:30AM and went ahead and got up. Brad had the alarm set for 9AM to wake me up so yeah. I got up and made my protein smoothie and made it extra thick this morning! Right after I drank it my stomach hurt pretttty bad, so I don’t think I will be having the protein smoothies first thing of a morning anymore. Still trying to work on finding what works best for my messed up body, as far as foods go. Ummm.. after Katie got up and about she was really getting on my nerves. I cleaned, cleaned, cleaned house and as usual on Saturday Brad slept in really late. We eventually got everything together, dropped Katie off @ Mom’s then went off to the gym !!! WORKOUT SUMMARY >>>

YAHOOOOOO. Man I LOVED the squats and jumps squats! SO HAPPY I did 60 each of those. Once my fitness gets better and better, I’ll be able to FLY with those… I remember I used to and it felt so good. I kept my heart rate right between 148-160ish on the treadmill.. making sure NOT TO GO too high, or else it smashes my immune system/body, like it did after last Wednesday’s smash out on the treadmill. I love to push myself HARD, but right now my body cannot handle it. I’m alright with that. I was still drenched in the end!!! Ooo and I went ahead and got plenty of ICEEEEE in my water after I did the virtual bike. Got on the treadmill and got going!! At the end I was eating the ice chips and they were the BEST. Hah. Afterwards, we talked to the main guy at the front desk for a bit and I got a yogurt blend… it was pretty good, like the smoothies better tho. We tanned, changed clothes, talked to Ryan (guy up front) until the gym closed, lol. Headed out and checked out Micheal’s craft store for a bit (Brad LOVES that place) then went to PetSmart and thought about getting a dumbo rat! Our rat is a fancy rat… but decided to just go with our one for now. Last stop was Wal-Mart, where I decided to get a Clif bar to eat on the way home (and an energy drink), plus some Luna bars for after my workouts and got a loaf of Nature’s Own Whole Wheat bread like I used to eat all the time… it’s not gluten free, but it didn’t seem to cause me problems when I ate it a long while ago when my diet consisted mostly of rice, veggies, fruits, and a piece of toasted bread. TMI – I haven’t went to the bathroom in a few days, but tonight after the Clif bar (more carbs than protein!) I actually had to use the bathroom. That tells me that I prob need to scale BACK on the protein and a bit more on the carbs, so again.. I’m working on finding out what works best for my diet. Just gonna listen to my body and if something makes me feel bad, I’ll know not to eat it! If the bread makes me feel bad… I won’t eat it, but I think as long as I keep my food IN CONTROL and don’t binge, i’ll be just fine, esp. with taking the holistic supplements and vitamins/minerals to help me. When I get my diet “OK”, I can lose about a pound of water weight a day.
Anyway, came back, picked up Katie, she got a bath then went to bed! Guess I’ll go wash off and settle down. Tomorrow after church is Katie’s bday party! I’ll reveal her big present tomorrow… heh. In fact, i got the same present for my 4th bday! I had no idea until my Mom told me that last night and so that is so neat to me. I am so thankful, grateful, and blessed!!!
