After the usual this morning, I sat down and decided I would either call the health department dental clinic, or the dentist that is right across the street from our apartments, literally!!! No answer from the health department after many tries, so I went for the closer dentist. I said that I had a bad tooth infection & that our insurance doesn’t start till August, but that I was hoping to be seen and get some antibiotics. I asked how much it would be? She said $70 for xray and consultation… um yes! I asked when I could come in. She said, how about this afternoon? UM PERFECT. She said at 2pm. ALRIGHT!!!!! Asked me neighbor to watch Katie while I went for the appointment and she was fine with that. I let Katie play, fed her lunch, then she went to my neighbor’s and I was off to the dentist! I brought my neighbor’s umbrella, since it was barely sprinkling when I left. How awesome is it that I can just WALK to the dentist?! Went in.. paperwork… waited a bit and went back. EVERYONE was super, super, super nice. They took an xray of the left side of my mouth, where the tooth is with the infection. The dentist said that that certain tooth has weird shaped roots, so he referred me to an endodontist for a root canal. He said that YES all the sinus problems are linked to the infection. Yes yes. He said my teeth don’t look that bad!!! That I would probably need a deep cleaning, which I already knew. He wrote me a prescription for the wonderfullllllll antibiotics and then I went to pay. The lady was so nice and she said after I go to the endodontist to come back to them and we could start my other dental work after the insurance kicks in and she will help work something out as far as payments!!!!! SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT. I came back and my neighbor drove me to the store, so I could get the antibiotics. We had about a 30 minute wait, so we looked around the store then came back. I bought my FAVORITE ThinkThin bar (chunky peanut butter!) at the store and ate that after I got home, since I had not had lunch and it was already time for my afternoon snack. Also took my first dose of antibiotics!!! I had the bar then a bit later had eggs/green beans/coconut oil = yums. I had to feed Katie then do this that before Brad got home. What a busy day and it went sooooooo quickly! We went off to the gym after he got home… STATS >>>

Decided to still go easy on the workout. I could feel a difference before we left for the gym, once the antibiotics had time to kick in… my body felt more relaxed. I’M SO EXCITED to see how I feel in a few days, or maybe even tomorrow. MY BODY IS SAYING YESSS THANK YOU!!! It doesn’t have to fight so hard anymore. I had my protein bar after the workout and we talked to some people then came on home. Got Katie, set her up for bath, Brad bathed/put her to bed, and I ate, washed off, fixed my snack and took another antibiotic and am about to do some stuff online and clean our rat’s cage. I didn’t get to do any college work today, but I gotta get to it tomorrow. OH and I called my Mom this evening to tell her about my appointment and she went to the Doc today too about her stomach. She’s got an appointment Friday, so they can put the camera down into her stomach and see what’s up. If she’s too anemic she will have to go into the hospital again for blood… she’s had to do it a few times in the past. At least we are both taking steps to getting our health situated!!!
My body feels like it wants/needs rest….. so we’ll see how I feel in the morning after my body gets to “relax” more during sleep. EEEEEEEEE!!! So thankful.
