I get these days now since I’ve been doing this healthy lifestyle where I can FEEL the weight loss.. like today! My body feels so light and I just feel overall awesome. Yes, it takes a lot of work and dedication but every second is worth it to feel like I do now. I have learned SO MUCH but it all boils down to keeping track of calories in and calories out! Logging my food REALLY helps me. Where I can see all my food and know how many calories. I look back on past journal entries where I attempted to put together my own menu and just LAUGH because of what I have learned now. I can’t describe how happy it makes me to be able to fit into new, smaller clothes! Most of the shirts in my closet are now baggy on me!!! I was mentioning this to Brad one day and told him for Christmas tell others to just give me money or gift cards because I’ll need all new clothing! LOL. The size 15 jeans I bought like… 2 months ago I think? Those are baggy and won’t stay up! Even the size 14 shorts I wear all the time now have a lot of room so I think when we go shopping early next week I’ll see what size I can wear now!!! Getting close to losing almost 10 SIZES since my biggest weight! Holy cow. Anyone thinking about bringing exercise and better eating into your life I can TELL YOU, it is so worth it IF IF IF IF you stick to it and are dedicated to it but you have to FIGHT to stay with it. I STILL have a hard time sometimes but I just keep going. Motivation and dedication. Speaking of.. I set a new record today on the treadmill! I keep challenging myself, lol. I did 4 miles in an hour! I’ve NEVER done that, EVER. Not in just an hour. I used to do 4 miles in over 70 minutes but never 60. Treadmill and the Wii Active combined as far as planned exercise I burned 744 calories today! I’ve burned some serious calories this week!
Today has been pretty good but time has went a little slower, espically since Brad said time has been crawling for him today lol. His phone just died @ work so we can’t chat between his work calls, booooo! He only has about 2 more hours of work anyhow. I stopped working on my new website theme because of lack of time but I’m gonna try harder to get it done! I was working on a graphic and couldn’t make up my mind as usual, lol. Okiiie, I’m gonna munch on some watermelon and see about working on that theme while I have a teeny bit of time!
PS – The Tudors television series is actually good! I’m SO UBER excited for September and NEW TV SHOWS. I know I’ve said this before but SQUEE, I’m stoked! Finally saw a preview for the new season of The Biggest Loser and can already see I’m gonna be CRYING my eyes out lol but that show gives me strength, motivation and inspiration!!!!
I cannot wait to have a lighter body. Getting started is the hardest part for me…I think once I get the first 10 pounds gone, it will be easier to keep it up and stick with it.
Congrats on the new treadmill record. A 15 minute mile is great! I’m currently doing 19-20 minute miles when we walk around our neighborhood, but hopefully that will go down once I get the treadmill!
I think I’m going to DVR the new season of The Biggest Loser. Hopefully it will be some much needed motivation for me!
