Well, we got screwed over by the car dealer we’ve been using. Brad went this morning to try to trade-in or get our money since the car we got from him was overheating and giving us so much trouble. Needless to say, he only gave us a little of the money out of what we SHOULD of gotten back from him. He’s letting Brad “borrow” one of his cars till we can see about buying a car from a church friend of ours. Ugh… I am stressing out about tomorrow. We’re planning on going to our church Temple but I’d really like to go baby-free. I want to be a peaceful experience but before I go into the temple? Baby this, baby that. Right after I get out of the temple? Baby this, baby that. Now Brad says that we just won’t go but we need to. š I really, really, really, really wish my Mom was closer so she could come babysit Katie. I just want so badly to go to the Temple and clear my mind without attending to a baby for a few hours. Ah well, we’ll see what comes of it all.
Besides figuring out the car situation and tomorrow’s situation… today I got up and took Katie out for our Friday stroll.
It was soooo pretty outside with some clouds spread out here and there. I think I wound up walking about a little over 2 miles before coming back home. I got Katie all set up with another VEGGIE TALES movie then…
It was time to clean, clean house since I wanted to get that done. I usually clean on Saturdays but knew the Temple trip was that day and wanted to get cleaning out of the way. I cleaned house then got a shower before feeding Katie a snack then eating one myself! I put her down for a nap then cleaned our turtle’s tank. A little bit later I had lunch and Brad came home for his break later than usual and I was still a little hungry so I munched on some cheerios and we talked before he had to go back to work. This evening I talked to Mom and did some laundry.
I just need some relief from everything BABY related. Temper tantrums, jibber-jabber, crying… just gotta keep holding on. I know everything will turn out ok, I trust in my Heavenly Father.
