It’s been another rainy day! In fact, It’s been raining off and on just about all day. I got up, cleaned house, got my lesson for church ready for the Primary kids tomorrow and just lounged about.

Speaking of the lesson I prepared… It was about the Sermon Jesus gave on the mount. It refers to Matthew in the Bible and I love these verses:
[Matthew 5:14-16]

14) Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15) Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16) Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

I LOVE THAT because I’m all ABOUT shining the light of The Gospel. I want everyone to know that I believe in The Gospel that It CAN do GREAT things for everyone If we would all just strive day by day to be more like Him. Follow the commandments and truly live The Gospel. I used to not want to hear about The Gospel and was like “pffffft, whatever” but once I gave myself a chance to change… It’s been incredible. Anyone who wants to experience life through living The Gospel – CAN! I’m thankful for all the changes I’ve made since 2008. THANKFUL for the church. THANKFUL for all my many, many blessings that I owe to my Heavenly Father. Let your light shine!!!!!!!!!!! Your good works DO COUNT.
