I have nothing interesting to say about today…. except that I made a 100% on my college quiz, woot! Also, that my ears itch, throat is randomly sore, plus I’ve been sneezing and sniffling more today. Blah!!! Rewind to last night… I went to bed way late again and STILL had trouble falling asleep because I was tired, but not *that* tired. I didn’t get to sleep until almost 2AM, since Brad was also coughing and moving a lot.
I’ve been taking my supplements and chewing on Vitamin C chews, so hopefully that will help me a bit. I wanna brag about the good foods I had today. I had the YUMMY pancakes again this morning! I was debating on whether or not to eat something else for breakfast, but I got up and was like…. neeeeeh, I’ll just have PANCAKES again! Oh, and when I first got up this morning after Brad left for work, I tried my new seaweed crackers for a little nibble on something and their quite good. I got a start on my college paper later into the morning, and so I’ve only got 1-2 more pages left that I will probably finish up tomorrow. Lunch was simple and very healthy! When we were low on food, I started to LOVE eating a whole can of veggies for a meal, lol. Today I had a can of green beans, plus a salad. The salad WAS AMAZING. I steamed some raw carrots, cut up a little cucumber + tomato, then put some regular lettuce and some green leaf lettuce in the bowl. For the dressing, I took a little smashed avocado and mixed it with the raspberry vinaigrette that I got……… OMG. The vinaigrette is the best. Think I’ve found my all time new fav! I tried to take a small nap when Katie was napping because I was feeling pretty ick and drowsy, BUT NOPE I couldn’t get to sleep. Rawwwwr.
I got up, cleared out my nasal passages with the water/salt/baking soda solution then got Katie’s snack ready and got her up. My snack was a new Larabar I have yet to try! The chocolate hazelnut…… oh yum. It tasted like a BROWNIE. Nommm nommm. I folded 2 loads of laundry, then made some *drum roll* GREEN JUICE! Know what?? IT WAS SO GOOD. I loved it. I took 1 fat cucumber, 1 lemon, 2 leaves of green leaf lettuce, a few red grapes, tiny bit of wheat grass, 1 stalk of celery and it produced about 11 ounces I think? My taste and smell is a little off with the cold, but I wanted more!!!!!!! It seemed to help kick my drowsiness for a bit. I am also really, really loving simple things for dinner…….. RICE and veggies! Tonight I had rice, peas, seasoning, and 1 tablespoon of walnut oil. Simple!
We didn’t go out shopping this evening like we usually do, since we already got everything we need (for now) when we went out Wednesday. Plus, we’re all sick and so staying in was a good idea.
From the way the past 4 nights or so have went, I’ll probably be up way late again. I’m about to check out a few sites then watch DAN THE MAN on YouTube and drink some HOT herbal blueberry tea.. sooo good.
