We’ve had a lot of fun lately!!! Back up into April before Brad’s Mom came to visit- not sure if I mentioned this? But we got our upstairs bathroom finished! Before we moved in they had to tear out a lot of it since there was a bad leak so they gave us new floor and cabinets. Wish I could remember what day? Like mid April I think. Well, today another guy came to finish part 2 of that with closing up the holes in the ceilings downstairs where they had to also work on the leak. He has to come back tomorrow or Friday and cover up the ceiling to match the rest of the ceiling.

Since I’ve last updated we’ve went to many pet stores, the mall, 2nd & Charles- cool little shop with used stuff to buy, and then of course SIX FLAGS! Six Flags was so much fun and we all had a blast, even little Benjamin. We didn’t ride any big roller coasters this time but me and Katie rode the Justice League ride like we did the last time and also the Sky Screamer swings. We ate lunch for free at Six Flags thanks to Brad’s work then over to the water park- Hurricane Harbor! So much fun… even Brad and I went down a bigger water slide. I sat with Ben in the very very shallow water for like 40 minutes and let him splash. We were going to go swim in the pool but everyone was out of it? Come to find out- someone had puked in the pool. Well, there goes that! So we went back to the water playground. Katie almost got an attitude when it was time to go. We went looking at various shops and I couldn’t find a snack for me, since I can’t eat a lot of usual stuff. I bought some fruit snacks though and Katie and Brad got funnel cakes for free because of Brad’s work too! Best part of all this??? We got a FREE season pass till September 16th because of his work!!! WOOOT. We all got a bit burnt, esp Brad on his face but Katie’s back was horrible! We’re all good now though. Brad also rented a motorcycle from work for a week and I drove the kids in the car Sunday over to our local park and Brad followed behind us on the bike lol. He’s still nervous since he hasn’t ridden in years. Just been hanging out with the kids. When we went to the park that day when Brad rode the motorcyle- Benjamin had his first try at swinging and he loved it! Then we came home later and gave him his first buzz cut haircut and he hated it! Not sure if it’s because he didn’t know what was going on or maybe the sound of the clippers. Brad took the sizer off and was gonna clip a little hair from by his ears and he moved his head… so he has a little buzz mark on the side LOL. He looks SO HANDSOME! Monday I drove down to help take care of my mom and take my aunt to the store. Tuesday my church friend invited me back to the same park we went to Sunday! Then today the guy came for the ceiling so it’s been a busy week!

Just been hanging out with the kids and going to the store when need-be for the usual necessities. Life has been awesome lately and I am loving it!
