I feel like bouncing off the walls today!!!! I’ve been busy all day long but SUPER HAPPY! I have an online job and have been working on this one big file for days so that has kept all my extra time today. I should be working on that right now but thought I’d take a few to blog plus It’s almost time to bathe and put Katie to bed. I orginally planned to only run 2 miles on the treadmill today. Well, well whaddya know! I got on and did 2.6, LOL. Yup, once you get me going I always push myself a little further than planned and I feel excellent because I did so! The energy is fully with me today, WOOOO. I’ve also drank a lot of water today and I wanna say I’ve drank around a gallon! Of course my bladder is working overtime so I’m constantly running up the stairs to pee, haha. Speaking of things you consume… do you guys eat fast or slow? Ever since I was little I’ve always eaten slow. My Mom used to huff and puff at me to, “Hurry up and finish!” when we’d be out eating somewhere, haha. I’M GLAD I EAT SLOW OK! It’s so much better to eat slower and chew up your food. Why not! That way you can really enjoy each and every bite to let your taste buds really DO THEIR THING! Brad eats SUPER fast. The other night I was still making my dinner plate and he had already fixed his and sat down. By the time I got in there he was almost done! I’m like WHAAA? Not long ago he ate a big bowl of noodles super fast then paid the price with a tummy ache. Yup, SEE. I’ve got myself in a habit to also just put my fork down and sit for a few minutes then repeat throughout my meal. I’ve done it so much It’s just natural for me now. I do have to compliment my husband for cooking our turkey burgers JUST RIGHT last night. Yes, they made my tummy do a happy dance.
I want to take a moment to send our prayers to those in Haiti. What a tragic event. I was reading an article about it and just trying to invision going through something like that. My goodness.. how blessed we all are to have what we do have on this day, in this moment because we never know when such a situation could potentially happen to us. I pray that God will strengthen those in Haiti and all those who are willing to go there and attempt to help all that they can. Hopefully they can eventually heal and start to re-build.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL! Wishing a good evening for all. Enjoooooooy!
I admit, I get times when I eat really quickly without taking my time and pay for it with heartburn and stomachaches, but when I do take my time it’s definitely worth it.
I feel really terrible about what happened in Haiti so I’ve been gathering clothes, toys and other items together to donate in some kind of way.
Aww! I hope you can go to a beach sometime; it’s really worth it when the weather is good.
Ooh, floppies! Reminds me of the old floppy disks, haha. 😛
Congratulations on doing 2.6 miles! It’s funny how when you get into doing something you plan on doing a certain amount but then you feel like you’re so into it that you do more. 😛
Oh gosh… when I was so much younger I hated my vegetables and I took an hour to eat my dinner every night. My mum would sit there and watch me to make sure I didn’t sneak and put something in the bin or in a tissue. Now I eat pretty fast – well, it depends on how I’m feeling and what I’m eating I guess! But you’re right, you need to savour it and really taste it and enjoy it! My brother eats so fast, I don’t know how he does it… but I know that doing that gives you a stomach ache, indeed. O_o
