Hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of JULY! I used our George Foreman indoor grill and cooked hot dogs for me and Katie! Brad has been thinking about driving for Uber for a while now and decided to try it out the evening of the 4th! We had went out to pick up a few things earlier in the afternoon, then came home so I could fix our dinner- don’t recall what Brad had to eat? Think he picked up those little pinwheel sandwiches. About 8pm he decided to head out for Uber. I had thought we could drive somewhere for fireworks, but since he was out then I thought maybe Katie and I could see them outside close by somewhere. She watched cartoons in her room for a bit then we walked outside and one of the guys across from our apartment complex was shooting them so we got to see those and then saw others from farther away. We stayed out there for a while, but then I was getting lots of mosquito bites so we came back in and I tried to find some live firework feeds online but didn’t find any. I let Katie stay up later to wait and see If Brad would get back before he bedtime and he came back at 11pm, just as I was about to put her to bed. He made $40 in 3 hours!! And he LOVES IT. I’m glad he found something he really loves to do. He also signed up with Lyft and is gonna drive for them too. Tuesday morning Katie and I went with a church friend and her 3 kids to $1 movie to see the Peanuts movie! It was a pretty good movie. We loaded back up afterwards and the sky was getting very dark. We just hung out the rest of the day and have had a chill day today too and we got another storm. If I didn’t mention it here yet… Katie will be baptized into our church this Saturday!!! I’m so excited for her. I’m really hoping my mom, aunt, and cousin will come. It would mean a lot to her (and me!).

This summer just keeps getting better! <3
