I feel so ACCOMPLISHED!!!!!!!! Day 1 of back to high protein is working! I feel a little uneasy right now but I expected that but I know It’ll take a while to get fully back on an eating routine. I should of taken pictures of my meals and snacks today but here’s the recap!
breakfast~ 1 scrambled egg, 1 tablespoon flaxseed, almost half a cup lentils, 1 toasted whole wheat bread plus a little spinach, tomato and onion! after I was done, I ate a little apple then worked out.
Did my workout and actually felt pretty good! 10 minutes Wii Active, 10 minutes bike, 10 minutes treadmill. Even got a little sweat going for only 30 minutes of light exercise, yahooooo! I ate the rest of my apple then got online for a bit before a hot bath and I also ate a handful of almonds to hopefully hold me over until lunch.
lunch~ salad!!! with some lentils, mixed veggies, little pumpkin, little raisins, little flaxseed, 1 almond and some honey dijourn dressing then I had a chocolate protein bar after I was done with the salad
Once Katie went down for her nap, I sipped on an energy drink that Brad brought home for me as a treat last night! OH and he bought me PROTEIN POWDER, WHEEEEE! Oh and ORANGE JUICE! Deffo need some Vitamin C to take with my iron pills… I think that makes a big diff. I had the energy drink and watched more Secret Life of the American Teenager. I was going to try to hold off until 4:30-5PM for a snack but I was really feeling ready for something around 4:15PM sooooo
snack~ protein shake! which consisted of almost a cup of water, 1 scoop of choco protein powder, little spinach, 1 tablespoon flaxseed and some ice! on the side I had a cup of my fav… Multigrain Cheerios! plus a few raisins and almonds
After a bit, It was time to get Katie back up so I fed her, started dinner, folded some laundry and had another snackaroooo.
snack#2~ microwaved sweet potato and 1 tablespoon peanut butter… always a fav!
AND GUESS WHAT WE’RE HAVING FOR DINNER? STEAKS! I can’t wait!!! Steaks, sweet peas and field peas then for dessert I’ll probably have an apple and If I still need something else then I’ll have to figure out a little something more. Feeling really confident that this is it… I’m going to get back to being the me that I worked so hard to build up.
I’m so thankful for my life for my Heavenly Father. I’m so stoked!!!!!!
