I did my weigh-in this morning and I’m the same weight as last Saturday — 138 so I am pleased with that!!! Means I am doing a good job maintaining! Of course today was cleaning day and Katie was SO GOOD this morning. She was playing and It was almost her snack and nap time but she was just sitting quietly playing so I let her play for about 15 more minutes. Washed, folded and put away the last load of laundry so I am done with laundry for the week!!!
I wanted to give some insight on how I keep my life so motivated in general!
– Orginization: I am SO organized and I like to have everything in certain places and this helps me keep up with all my things.
– Prepation: I take our fruits and veggies and chop them up ahead of time so that we can have them in bowls in the fridge for whenever we need them for meals and such. Also being prepared in the money area! In December, I started using Excel to keep up with our bills and it has worked WONDERS just seeing everything put in front of us. I plan out my meals every day and keep up with them on sparkpeople.com so I can see around how many calories and at first I was hesistant and resistant to logging my food but now I RELY on it and it keeps me happy seeing that recorded and accountable.
– Routine/Schedule: YES my Mom raised me ROUTINE ROUTINE and that is 100% how I am now and same for our baby and I dunno, it’s just awesome!! Katie has been sleeping through the night since she was 3 months and STILL DOES and I know it’s from keeping her on such a good routine. It MATTERS so much!!!
– Determination: For all the things I used to “put off” or “wait till later” NO MORE! Whenever I need to do something, I JUST DO IT and I am better for it. I am using my energy and that is what it is for! I used to spend ALL DAY sitting idle at my computer and now I only have certain times when I’m at the computer and then even when I am most of the time I’m still running around the house doing things, LOL.
– MUSIC: I’m a stay at home Mommy and we don’t have cable TV so I am 98% of the time playing music and that keeps me upbeat and going forward all day!
I have changed all the way around and ANYONE CAN. I can testify to that much! I was an overweight, lazy, negative, hopeless, person who had no motivation and look how I have turned around!!!! I owe it all to my husband for opening my eyes to our religion because that has been the biggest “lightbulb” in my life, really. I learned that HEY, I have a purpose and I DO matter and I won’t just sit back and let my life pass me by and I am definetly making the best of my life now. SQUEE. I say this often but I am truly thankful for my life and I’m so glad I can say that now!!!!!!
My hunny bunny is home and we’re gonna start dinner soon! Last night we watched The Office and BONES! Gosh, I love that show. Booth and Bones are the best!!!! Tonight we’ll be watching this weeks episode of Fringe. Walter cracks me up and I still drool a bit over Josh Jackson, heh.
Routine is great! Love it!
When I was living on my own I had no cable and always listened to music. Now I live with my father and we have 800 some channels, and I still don’t watch tv. 😛
I wish I have your motivation elements so I would always be productive just like you. 🙂
I don’t watch Bones a lot but I love it! 🙂 It’s a great show.
Your mum sure did a great job bringing you up with routine! I think routine is great. 😀 Along with organisation. I love being organised, even though I have to admit that I have my lazy days.
Being prepared is great as well – I am really into time management and making plans for my day and whatnot. 😀
