Thank you all for the comments on my new layout! 😀
I have a pretty good daily meal plan going for myself — which I’ve been on for about a month. All good and well. Except for dinner. I just basically buy whatever is fast and cheap. Things such as hamburger helper, etc. I need to go for something more healthy. I’ve been looking at different cheap, fast, healthy meals online and have gotten some good insight on it but I wanted to ask YOU for anymore ideas.
* SO If you have any healthy, CHEAP, fast meal ideas please share them with me. I crave meat to be in with my dinner but maybe If I could get something that only uses a little meat throughout that whole meal? That way I can use the meat sparingly. Share your delicious dinner ideas with me! 🙂
Speaking of food… lol. Our Katie girl tried stage 2 food the other day. Her 1st one was Mac & Cheese and at first she was ok with it then once she got a good taste of it she made the funniest faces LOL then proceeded to let it roll out of her mouth. I’ve found she doesn’t like mac & cheese, chicken noodle or apples, strawberries & bananas (those 3 fruits combined) but loves brocceli & chicken! It’s interesting to see what she likes and doesn’t! So funny to see those different faces! 😆
i’ll go through my recipes for you, hun!

that recipe is pretty good!
You’re talking to the wrong person coz I don’t really see myself as someone who’s healthy. Baaah. And that’s one of the few things i’m scared of when i’ll start to live alone after a few years.. I don’t know how to cook/prepare food for myself! Haha.
Aww at least Katie loves the broccoli, there’s a good girl!
TRY SUSHI. Sushi’s fast.. kind of. A salad too – fruit salad. Or lettuce with some cheese and bacon and salad dressing. It’s yum! I’ve got some recipes at my site you can try (like a strawberry shake). ^_^
LOL Aw. I can’t believe she’s already eating Stage 2 food already. She’s growing up so fast!
It’s cute, seeing kids make those faces when they’re eating, seeing what they like or don’t like. Maybe she just doesn’t like the texture of it? I’m sure if you give her time, and let her try it again in the future, she might change her mind? 😛 Kids will be kids hehe.
As for easy, cheap meals, I probably wouldn’t be much help, since I like those TV dinners. lol Especially the beer battered chicken from the hungrymen meals.
Omgosh, the layout is sooo cute.
I think i have a few cheap and healthy ideas but i have to search for them, if you are interested in having them. 🙂
Sure Joy!
Well, those meals although cheap are not bad. You could instead have a salad with these meals. Salad would be a good filler and you could portion the meals smaller. What people usually do not realize is that it is the serving size.
A fruity dessert is nice… jell-o with some fruit cocktail in it… or applesauce with cinnamon and raisins. All healthy additions and will do great with your portioned meals. 🙂
Someone said sushi… Sushi is expensive. Cost $6 for a normal meal for 1 person and even the ones prepared in the deli at some grocers are not cheap.
I love stir fry for dinner. You can use as much, or as little meat as you’d like, you really don’t need to use any! And you can season it differently, or use different sauces, so it’s never exactly the same. 🙂
Haha unlike my boyfriend your hubby keeps it a surprise! 😛 I love love.. and I love getting spoiled. hahahaha.
thanks for stopping by my site! 🙂 i like the design of your layout.
tip for cheap & fast food: chicken & rice (rice gets you super full & it’s not expensive)
anything chowder or soup. Soup gets you full because it’s all liquid and it fills up your belly so instead of chowing down on an expensive $19 steak, you could be eating beef stew. 🙂 with veggies!
yeah i’m soo excited for warmer weather. today is supposed to be 50 degrees. I’m stoked! lol
