Figured I would sit down and actually write another post before March is over!

February was decent – Brad bought me a beautiful heart necklace for V-Day and a beautiful poem too. Ben’s 1st birthday was the 28th of Feb, of course!!! We celebrated with a little cupcake for him and he didn’t know what to quite think of it, lol. I bought him new shoes, clothes, and a few toys. He is walking really well now, trying to say certain sounds/words, and has 7 teeth!!! Overall, a very good baby. Bought him a play gate pen so he can have an open space to play, since we have our ferret in the living room and he could get into her poop (ew) because she poops right at the edge of the cage so I have to put newspaper on the side and he could get that if he tried. Katie has been struggling a bit with her school grades but hoping she can pull them up by the end of the year. Mostly math but I wasn’t the best at math either.

March is one of my favorite months!! Mine and hubby’s birthdays, DST, and SPRING! So, we’ve been looking for a new place to move to for the last few years and decided to start looking back in December or so. We found a decently priced place last month but it was GONE off the website that evening after it was posted! Lady said they already had 4 applicants that hadn’t even went to see inside it yet! Told Brad- oh well, if we can’t find a place then… we don’t. There was this townhouse that was on Zillow and had been for over 60 days and I was looking at it the day before my birthday and Brad sent me an email that day ABOUT THAT ADDRESS! I texted him back and said that was the place I was looking at today! He asked if we wanted to go check it out that night and I said yes! WE- LOVED – IT! We went to see the place the 14th, Brad sent in our applications on the 15th, and he called me that evening to say WE WERE APPROVED! I couldn’t believe it!!!! I love townhouses and it has all 3 things that I am wanting. 2 story- check, storage space- check, fenced in backyard- check! It has 2 bedrooms upstairs and both have bathrooms so Katie will have her own! There is a FULL BASEMENT that is separated into 2 rooms by a hallway and it’s brand new down there. Looks like a school classroom with tile and ceiling lights in that similar look. We are turning the first room into Ben’s down there. We are going to be so busy starting next week because we move out of our current place a week and 2 days! Last day of March is when we’re getting the moving truck. Katie won’t start her new school till after spring break on April 9th so that will give her time to get used to the new place. Overall, the place was great, we all loved it, and it is a pretty decent price. It’s about 20 min away from where we currently live but it’s in the town where Brad works – so Katie’s new school and Brad’s work are very close! I need to start cleaning our current apartment next week and Brad is gonna start taking boxes and some stuff to the new place once we get the keys, which will be next Tuesday or Wednesday.

So, back up to the 11th, which was Brad’s birthday! He bought some new video games for his birthday. Mine was the 15th but I didn’t really want anything. I did buy a new St. Patty’s shirt that says lucky. Looking forward to April and getting settled into the new place! Breaking Benjamin’s new album also comes out in April!!!!!!! Can’t wait for warmer weather- it felt like 20-something degrees this morning. Come on spring!
