Just wanted to say that I hope your Friday (and start to the holiday weekend) has been good! I did a little college work, folded laundry, took Katie outside this afternoon … and took naps. We went out for groceries this evening and I’m gonna do it – I’m gonna follow the strict food plan that I have been *thinking* about doing for a while. Basically, my whole days worth of food consists of nothing but: lean protein + healthy fats and vegs. I’m tired of going on this up and down weight wave, so gotta do what I gotta do. No grains, no dairy (so that includes no more whey protein…), lots of healthy fats for energy. I CAN DO THIS… I could get egg-white protein powder like I have before but it’s just too expensive. Almost $25 for about a week’s worth! Sheeeeeeeeesh.
Once again, prob gonna feel heavier at the gym tomorrow, since I ate too much and things that I shouldn’t have. WTF AM I DOING. GRRRRRRRR. The only “temptations” I have at home now is Katie’s oats and I’m just gonna have to leave them alone!!! This “strict” diet will help my body heal. Then MAYBE eventually I can re-introduce other foods……. maybe. I am excited to try out my new: coconut butter and hormone & antibiotic free turkey sausage! Got some egg whites too for a lower calorie protein source, PLUS clean, hormone free chicken burgers.
Anyway .. gonna relax and possibly watch a rerun of OTH!
