My goodness! Today was really busy for me, but good. I went back to sleep after Brad left this morning, as usual, then woke up and went to pay rent & talk to the manager about our leaky tub faucet. Came back, did the usual routine, and sat down to send a few emails, and do a bit more research on Hashimoto’s. My neighbor knocked on the door a bit later & was SO EXCITED because she found a place that is willing to help her with her dental issues and a few other things. Really happy for her! Oh, and also started laundry! Of course. After all that was said and done, it was time to feed Katie lunch. She went down for nap, I ate lunch, then called Mom. I had a snack, got Katie back up, and finally sat down to finish a college discussion. I was determined to finish it before we went to the gym!!! I GOT IT DONE, but when I got done I still had other stuff to do but thankfully, I got a few of those things done. Still gotta fold laundry tomorrow. Anyway! My babe came home and we eventually headed to the gym.
I’m not gonna post the stats because it was simple… 10 minutes on the elliptical, a few leg exercises, and that was all I wanted to do today. Once I heal my body I can kill it again at the gym, but for now I’m gonna listen to my body.
SO, if I really wanna focus on healing my gut I have to face the truth — I’m gonna have to go strict. I already have an idea of what that list will be, but it’s worth it. The super strict protocol isn’t FOREVER, but just until my body is well enough to properly digest foods again and help calm my immune system somewhat. It’s TOTALLY WORTH IT, just sucks because I’ve already been through some of this before and I will have toxic symptoms and super, super INSANE cravings but I’m gonna do it.
I’m pretty tired tonight and can’t wait to get some sleep! =)
