Ummmm today? I got my college discussions done, WOOHOO. Ate a bit too much in an attempt to get more fiber into my diet, but eh.
Lately, I’ve been eating higher healthy fat + protein based diet + low-carb. It’s been going OK, except for the BATHROOM part. I have not been “eliminating” once a day like I used to a few weeks ago, prior to this new food plan. In fact, my movements when I have gone have been painful and seem very…. hard to move through my digestive tract. Time to change up! I have to consider – 1) I don’t have a gallbladder so the fat/protein stuff has an effect on how my body digests those foods. 2) the hypothyroid / hashimoto’s stuff. I think the big culprit to my painful movements might be the coconut bread and pancakes. I’m gonna cut down down on certain fats, animal protein, and add some low-fat beans for extra fiber. Started adding APPLES back into my daily plan today. That’ll help with fiber as well. If I can get this figured out, I know I can lose weight…. but until I get the correct food plan, it’s not gonna work the way that I want it to.

For the bathroom problem, you may want to consider cutting back on the fiber and bulky foods because they can have the opposite effect as well. Also, digestive enzyme supplements are available to help pick up the slack from no gallbladder. I’ve wanted to try these for weight loss as well, but im too nervous to poop too much, lol
